Available in explosion proof or standard configurations, the CanGlobal Torque King is useful to control over-torque situations of drill pipe and drill collars as they are being made up. Dual settings let the operator set torque for drill pipe on one channel and drill collars on a separate channel. System hooks into a Tong Line Pull System and provides accurate indications of torque to all makes of tubulars. Once the desired torque is reached the Torque King kicks out the hydraulics that control the make-up for a predetermined (operator settable) time before reengaging the hydraulics. Power Tong model is also available with one torque setting.
