This tool is the first of its kind and is simple to operate and very reliable. CanGlobals’s electronic survey tool is temperature tested from -40°C and up to +125°C. It can withstand a downhole working pressure of up to 125 MPa. This survey tool system is also compatible with azimuth clocks by using a monel collar. The azimuth clock fits in the same floating running gear for quick easy installation. This tool offers great performance while keeping safety in mind. The floating style tools utilizes up to 4 air chambers which enables quick recovery in the deepest of mud. Also by using 4 air chambers the use of a wireline is eliminated, thereby creating a safer working environment. The electronic survey tool floats back to surface at a speed as high as 120 meters per min. After the electronic survey tool has reached surface you plug the clock into the reader and electronically print out your survey.
